Hot & Fit Cereals Family

Earnest Eats

I’ve been contacted a lot recently about doing product/book reviews. I can’t say Yes to all of them. Who has that type of time! One of the companies I said “yes” to was Earnest Eats. I received one of their bars in a Vegan Cuts Snack Box and was really pleased with it so I was curious about the Hot Cereals they offered to send me. I was surprised when I opened the package and there were three full size containers and 3 of their single serving eat out of the cup type of containers! Their three flavors really got my attentions also. An American blend, Mayan blend and Asian blend.

I chose to use the single serving size cups first. The Mayan for me and the Asian Blend for my husband. He loves green tea. I don’t. I knew right away that I would try the Mayan Blend first. I can’t pass up anything that has cocoa and cashews in it. I add cashews to a lot of my meals and never thought of adding it to a hot cereal. Its genius. Both cereals were really good. I even tried a taste of my husbands cup of the Asian Blend. I actually liked the green tea flavor. That is a first! Perhaps my tastes are changing. Now if I can only get myself to like seaweed.

For breakfast one Saturday morning I cooked up the American Blend for my husband and I out of the full size canister.  It was really simple to make and really good! I’m not someone who adds sugar to my coffees and cereals and these hot cereals aren’t really sweet at all which is a huge plus for me.

I highly recommend you try these Hot and Fit Cereals from Earnest Eats. I’m really looking forward to eating them on these cold fall days that are quickly approaching on the East Coast.
